| As the team’s star running back, Bowman gained 1,230 yards and scored 22 touchdowns. On defense he tallied 165 tackles, 9 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries. He earned several accolades for his gridiron achievements including Defensive Player of the Year for the entire state of Maryland. He also garnered first-team All-Metro, All-Conference, and All-State honors.
Bowman: "I've really got a good nose for the football. I mean I've been playing on varsity since I was in the ninth grade, so I know the game well. I definitely want to work on my speed and just get quicker at everything."
