| White transferred to Purdue on January 6, 2005 and will be eligible to complete with the Big Ten following the first semester in December 2005.
He had averaged 3.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game in five games with UConn in his redshirt sophomore season.
White played in just first four games in 2003-04 while battling a bulging disk in his back. He averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. Likely to be awarded medical redshirt year.
White played in 23 games off the bench during his sophomore season. He was second on the Huskies with 5.6 rebounds per game and averaged 4.1 points.
White prepped at at Whitney Young HS in Chicago where he averaged 25.8 points and 15.7 rebounds as a senior. Named All-State twice and All-City three times. White was released from his National Letter of Intent with DePaul after coach Pat Kennedy left the Chicago school.
