| Senior 2006 Season: Gentry recorded 16 sacks for 160 lost yards, 54 tackles, one pass deflection, 11 hurries.
ASWA All-State First Team
Birmingham News All-State
Gentry was named 6A All-State for his junior season after recording 100 tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, five pass knock-downs and two forced fumbles.
He was a top performer in the Alabama Junior All-Star game.
Gentry recorded 1.5 sacks in the Class 6A state championship game defeating Hoover for the title.
Gentry hails from one of the top programs in the state from a well-coached defense of Head Coach Bill Clark. |
