| After a slow start to his senior campaign, Posluszny finally picked up the intricacies of inside linebacker in Penn State's 34 alignment and was one of the nation’s best defenders at season's end. A solid player who may not be as good as his headlines would lend one to believe, he is a prospect who could start at the next level in the proper system. |

Three-year starter awarded All-Conference and All-American honors
since his sophomore campaign. Led the team in tackles as a senior
posting 116/9.5/3 numbers after 116/11/3 as a junior.

Intense linebacker with great instincts. Immediately diagnoses the
action, quickly locates the ball and seems to have a sixth sense,
anticipating plays before they unfold. Takes good angles to the action
and chases to get involved. Collapses laterally to defend the run or
picks his way through the traffic to get to the ball carrier. Fires
through the gaps up the field in run defense and likes physical
contact.
Neg:
Lacks footwork moving in reverse and skills in pass coverage. Gets
caught up in the trash and easily blocked from the action. |
