| Massaro plays with a ton of intensity and passion and really gets into a zone when it comes to rushing the passer. He is strong at the point of attack, sheds well and then shows good closing speed to get to the quarterback. Massaro excels in pursuit and really just plays with his hair on fire at all times. He was the emotional leader for Marple Newtown as a senior, even when injured. One thing he could work on is his change of direction ability. |

| As a junior, Massaro registered 53 tackles, 14 coming for a loss and sacked the opposing quarterback five times on his way to earning first-team All-County and second-team Class AAA Associated-Press All-State honors.
