| Martin is a prototypical nose guard because of his shorter, stockier frame and strength. He has quickness off the ball and plays with excellent leverage. He has good technique and does well with his hands, shedding blockers. He has outstanding strength and hand punch to hold his ground against the run and the feet and technique to be a disruptive pass rusher. He could add some weight though to allow him to handle double teams better. |

|
Won the state D1 wrestling title as a junior in only his first year wrestling. Also is a record setting shot-putter and discus thrower in track and field. On the gridiron, he had 75 tackles and 8 sacks as a junior. Reports a 420-lb bench and a 520-lb squat.
