| Hicks is one of the top talents to come out of Ohio in the past several years. Using great lateral movement with the ability to change direction allows Hicks to make plays others only dream of. | As a senior, Hicks recorded 80 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions. Named the Gatorade Ohio Football Player of the Year.
After he recorded 70 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions during the 2008 season, the five-star linebacker became the first Firebird ever to earn First Team All-State honors prior to his senior season. He did not stop there, averaging 11.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, three assists, 1.9 steals and 0.8 blocks per game on the hardwood. |
